Dump the grapes into a large pot, add ½ cup of water, cover and then turn on the stove to medium high. Allow the grapes to come to a boil. Grapes: You can make jam with any color of grape (green, red, purple). It will be much easier to use seedless grapes. If your grapes have seeds, then you have to go through the trouble of removing seeds. Sugar: This recipe uses granulated sugar to sweeten the jam. I also use the minimum amount of sugar, as I do not like an overly sugar jam.

Make Jam. Transfer grape juice to a wide shallow pot and add sugar, and lemon juice (also add half a cup whole grape for chunky jam, optional) Cook jam for 30-45 minutes on medium-low heat until jam is thick and glossy. Protip: The jam will splutter a bit when closing the setting point.
